Transportation
Freight chartered and coordinated for every cargo we trade.
Freight is usually the binding constraint. We hold it.
An agricultural trade fails at delivery more often than at price. Allez charters and coordinates freight directly rather than passing it to the buyer or handing it to a forwarder.
We do not own vessels. We contract them, and we hold the operational relationship from loading through voyage to discharge — which is what lets us commit to a delivery window and hold to it.
Scope
Modes: Bulk · breakbulk · containerised · flexitank and ISO tank for edible oils
Chartering: Vessel nomination, fixture, laytime and demurrage
Port operations: Load and discharge supervision, port agency coordination
Inland: Onward movement to inland destination where contracted
Delivery terms: FOB · CFR · CIF
Inspection: Independent quality and weight inspection at load and discharge
Documentation: Full document set prepared for letter-of-credit presentation
Discharge planning
Several of our discharge markets have constrained draft, limited berth availability or restricted shore handling. Vessel selection, parcel size and discharge sequencing are set against the port, not against the cargo alone. Getting that wrong costs demurrage and, at the wrong time of year, costs the delivery window.
